By downloading, accessing, or using Unblur Status, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Unblur Status does
Unblur Status is an iPhone utility that prepares videos before you pass them into a posting or sharing workflow. It can optimize video format, split long videos into ordered parts, and save or share prepared output.
Unblur Status is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.
Your content and lawful use
You are responsible for the videos and other content you choose to process, including having the rights and permissions needed to use, edit, save, and share that content. You may not use Unblur Status to violate law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, distribute harmful or unlawful material, or interfere with the app’s operation.
You retain ownership of your content. Using the app does not transfer ownership of your videos to Unblur.
Third-party platforms and final video quality
Unblur prepares videos before they are passed into third-party posting or sharing workflows. Third-party platforms may independently resize, transcode, compress, or otherwise process uploaded media. Unblur cannot control or guarantee the final quality produced by a third-party platform.
The app cannot restore detail that is missing from an already low-quality source video.
Free use and Unblur Pro
You receive 3 successful video exports free. Unblur Pro is a $7.99 lifetime, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited use. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. “Lifetime” means the Pro entitlement is unlocked for your Apple Account without recurring charges; it is not a guarantee that the app, any specific feature, or compatibility with third-party platforms will remain available forever.
Purchases and restoration are handled through Apple’s StoreKit and App Store using the applicable Apple Account. Pricing may be displayed by Apple in local currency and may include applicable taxes. Refund requests and decisions are governed by Apple’s applicable policies and processes.
Intellectual property
The app, website, branding, interface, software, and original materials are owned by Unblur Status or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose.
Availability and changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the app, maintain compatibility, address security or legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. We do not promise that every feature will always be available on every device or operating-system version.
Disclaimers
Unblur Status is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not make warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or achieve a particular result on a third-party platform. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Unblur Status will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the app, loss of data, or actions taken by third-party platforms. Any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited only to the extent the law permits. You remain responsible for keeping appropriate copies of important videos.
Termination and misuse
You may stop using the app at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect the app or others, or comply with law. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limitations—survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app or applicable requirements change. Revised terms will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
